Sommelier | Co-founder
Sean Buckland is a co-founder of Valley Wine Tours and a former sommelier for Five Fishermen Restaurant. In 2003, sean studied at the Culinary Institute of America Greystone (St. Helena) under Chef Holly Peterson. He continued his education at the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers in the Sommelier Certification* Program certification program, and graduated with honours.
Sean quickly became known for his enthusiasm for local wine and food, working as sommelier for 5-Fishermen Restaurant from 2003 to 2008, and co-founding Valley Wine Tours in 2004 before if it was acquired in 2008 by Ambassatours Gray Line.
Sean is author of Annapolis Valley Tastes Recipes from the Valley's Best Restaurants and is currently the VP of Business Development with Ambassatours Gray Line.
